Lot 1 DCR 3232 OLd school 4288
Aptly named, “Old School”, this bull sure has an old school look to him with his rugged bone conformation and masculine features. His power and performance is obvious to the eye from a phenotype standpoint, and he proved that look with his actual data when he mashed the scales down weaning at 700 lbs, and 1200 lbs YWweight after starting at 73 lbs at birth. His EPD numbers will back all that up with WW & YW percentages near the top 15% of the breed. Modern performance meets old school style in this bull.
Lot 5 dcr 5k devotion 4026
No doubt everyone will find 4026! An exciting new stud line this year is showcased in this herd bull prospect. Out of an outstanding 1st calf Hfr, this stud has been a star since day one and continued to perform at every benchmark with a huge 735 lbs WW and 1235 YW. This follows right along with what his expected data says, posting a WW in the top 2% and YW in the top 10%. Look at how this bull is put together, powerfully moderate with massive rib and hind quarters, yet athletically fluid in how he moves. We thought enough of this bull to him in our own program covering cows over the summer and we are confident in his ability to go to work in your program, seedstock or commercial.

Another standout 5K Devotion that we think very highly of! This stud is full of dark pigment and power. His dam is a phenomenal 1st calf Hfr that has some tried and true names in her pedigree. Walk through the pens and you can’t help but notice how deep the middle is on this bull, powerful in his brisket and hind quarter, and can flat get out and travel for as moderate as he his. If you’re looking for a bull to cross on some powerful Angus cows to wean some heavy calves that’ll grow, check out his top 10-15% WW & YW. This is a great representation of what you can expect from the Resolute 128D cattle, ample rib and hip shape that are very easy fleshing and out of a proven cow family. Deep middle, wide top, tons of bone and foot with really balanced growth, performance, and maternal. We liked him so much he was walked on cows last season here at the ranch.

We are in the middle of the sale and this bull may be the best yet! This is a unique bull that we are proud of. A little more frame, yet really easy fleshing and stylish! This bull is out of a really good 1st calf Hfr and has performed well at every stage and his EPD’s say those numbers are no mistake. We will be keeping a semen interest in this bull and plan to use him heavily in our program in years to come.
